Today, when I was cooking food, she came and asked can you play with me. I said after my cooking is done. She was little unhappy with my answer and asked, mumma what should I do.
As always, my answer was a question. I asked her, do you know the different states of water. She was happy and said, 'wow, we will do some experiment!'. Now, she also knows that if I ask a question, we are going to do some experiment but this one was a little one.
I replied, may be but first you tell me what will happen if we put water in refrigerator. Of course, she knew this one. She said, it will become ice. I said yes, this means it will change its state from liquid (water) to solid (ice).
My second question was, what will happen if we boil water. This one was tough for her. I put some water to boil. She noticed that water evaporates. I told her this is gas state.
She was very happy when I told that the same experiment is demonstrated to grade 2 students in her school.
Nice little learning
