Me and my mother were thinking what to do today. My mother suggested shall we do an experiment? I told "Yes, that is a good idea."
Then she asked, "what do you think, does air occupies space?" I said, "No, air does not occupy space."
Then we did an experiment to learn about it.
What all things we need:
- A big bowl
- A glass
- Tissue paper
- Water
Steps:
1. Scramble the tissue paper and put it inside the glass.
2. Turn the glass and put it straight in the bowl.
3. Take the glass out without turning.
4. Take out the tissue paper and check if it is wet or not.
The tissue did not get wet because half of the glass was filled with tissue paper and half of the glass was filled with air. That is why when we put the glass upside down into the bowl without moving it, the water did not get the space to get in as it was already filled with air.
